In the printing industry you will hear of two main printing processes: Lithographic and Digital. You needn’t worry which to choose because we will take care of that for you. But what do they mean?
A lithographic printing press uses a series of plates to apply inks to the substrate on which we are printing. With lithographic printing we are able to print on a huge range of paper stocks and weights and the possibilities are truly endless.
The litho press is our choice for delivering a high volume print run. While the initial setup cost is comparatively more expensive, the higher quantity of print yields a more cost effective solution overall. The quality of the outcome is impressive and a litho print provides unrivalled colour accuracy. We can even print in specific pre mixed inks, often referred to by their brand name ‘Pantone’s’. This enables printing in colours that can’t be achieved with a typical 4 colour process and even ‘special’ inks with metallic or neon finishes.
We use a top of the range Heidelberg printing press which is operated by a specialist machine-specific printing technician, ensuring a consistent high quality on every print job. With the nature of modern technology, we record the data of each print so that should you need a reprint in future, we can produce an exact colour match.
